LogoRRR goes Microsoft App Store

A huge milestone for LogoRRR was reached at the end of June 2024 when LogoRRR was deployed for the first time in the Microsoft App Store.

In June 2024, LogoRRR was downloaded about 10.000 times on all platforms! This is a major milestone for the project and something I’m very proud of.

LogoRRR 24.4.0

LogoRRR 24.4.0 has been released! This video swiftly underlines and explains the improvements made in version 24.4.0. Furthermore have a look at the feature videos, which display and explain the new features in more detail.

JavaFX Automated Testing

LogoRRRs Testing Automation LogoRRR uses TestFX to perform integration tests of its user interface. This topic is very important to guarantee the correct behaviour of the application and is invaluable to detect regressions or subtle changes if new features are added.

Nicer Boxes

Establishing 1 pixel as the minimum size naturally results in a significantly denser display of categorized lines. Starting with 24.3.0, the squares representing log lines get a highlights and shadows, which to my taste look far better.

Adding JMH Benchmarks

Release 24.3.0 contains JMH benchmarking facilities for LogoRRR. JMH is THE benchmarking tool for JVM applications, and LogoRRR benefits from this framework as well.

New Website

Launching a new website The old version of this website was very minimal, which has it’s own appeal. However, this site should be the new home of the activities around LogoRRR - additionally to the twitter account it will become a source of information around the developments of LogoRRR.
